Hi just wondering if the standard intank pump is okay to work as the list pump if I buy a PW surge tanks.. I have an 07 Typhoon which im about to crank the boost up on once I fit my APS kit to it.. Im looking around the 400RWKW mark. Will the intank pump hold up feeding the surge tank or should I also upgrade that as well.. Would rather not if I dont have to..

Thanks heaps

David

It will be fine mate, as it will only be discharging the fuel into the another tank (the surge tank), rather than the fuel rail which is under pressure

standard should be fine as it has no back pressure running against it from the pressure reg ,

That's pretty much what the sugre tank has. There's a Bosch 044 fitted to the surge tank setup.

would this still apply if I ran a bosch044 inline with n surge tank?

nah it wont work (unless its a yoot) because it wont eliminate the fuel starve that happens under 1/3 tank when all the fuel rushes to the back on hard throttle...

How do you figure that?

The Bosch pump is feeding the surge tank.
