Ok I've just spoken to a mob here in Brisbane that does the tunes for 700 dollars. they use the vcm suite. Yes that's not including a box. I figure why would I need it anyway. or do I need it and is this software good?

Aside from 2 mobs saying I need to upgrade the valve. This mob said I didn't need it as Im not going all out. Im happy with300 kw at the engine.

I think that would be all Ill be needing I don't think ill be needing anymore.

thoughts on these thoughts are that if that's all you need then go with vcm as its a decent alternative if you dont have the cash for a x3.

that's what I think, but I prefer the x3 option im thinking I think.

Anyone here tune their cars with tuners that use vcm suite?

Got a good deal at at motorworld. 700dollars tuned. excluding a box like you get at elite and rdo. They recon I can go from 240kw at the engine to 300-315kws. IM happy with that. That will do me. They reckon also I don't need to do the hasvalves as Im not going to extreme with power. Would this be right?

Also putting a airtake too for 1350 and tune.

They said if I do any other mods. They can retune it for 150 an hour. Re tuning a whole new exhaust would only take a hour too.
