I considered typhoons when I was looking but I couldnt justify the extra cash as much as I love them. For me, and im not going as far as you but still looking at going for mid to high 300s at he rear wheels, it came down to brakes and looks. I couldnt bring myself to pay more for those two when I can live without the bodykit.

I ended up in a bf2 with leather and sports steering wheel and couldnt be happier. For now im enjoying the subtle look after owning a car with a bodykit for the last few year, and when the mods come that will make it a sleeper too.

I'm leaning more and more towards the XR6T.

For me and what I want to do I am having a hard time justifying the extra cost of a Typhoon.

There is a few 2005 BF Phoon's kicking around for $30G to $33G but all with 75000kms to 100000+kms on the clock. I have found a few 2007 XR6T's with max 64000kms for around the $20G mark.

Right now the debate for me is, let’s say Big Al's 2005 Typhoon at 33G with 75000k's vs This 2007 XR6T I have my eye one with 59000k's for $21500.

In my situation I'm starting to think, is the Typhoon name, body kit and wheels worth $11500?

Straight of the bat I will be doing the Intercooler, Pipes, Battery, Custom air box, custom factory position exhaust manifold, dump pipe, exhaust, injectors, flash tuner, Fuel system and custom plenum.

Then Custom hiflow turbo.

Then bigger custom hiflow turbo.

Then custom split pulse manifold

Then Bigger turbo again, engine including rods, pistons and head.

All the way hoping the gear box doesn’t end up in a million bits.

Get a T, keep it simple, just remember to put big brakes on (probably the biggest advantage the F6 has in your case) and you'll have an absolute weapon that doesn't create too much attention.

In you're position - since you're obviously keen on big power rather than big wheels, and you plan to build the motor - Id say an early BF (assuming you want an auto) or a BAII (MANual) with a few options would be the best buy for you mate...

Though, Id still say go the FPV for others more concerned with looks & who don't have the skills to build a motor & other parts like exhaust manifolds themselvs...

Finally, what you should have said in your first post :censored: Seems you have wasted enough of peoples time and have made up your mind.

Makes sense given your goals. Just make sure it stops and can go around corners
