I can't see it make any real difference mate you already have a high flow pump off the surge tank and if your going to oner that flows more the worst that could happen is that it may get a little rich , but it should still be controlled by the pressure regulater at the end of the fuel rail ,

depends on the flow difference but your mate might want to get his checked if it will be flowing less fuel

and those saying go the intank that's not a good idea for a sedan with this sort of power ,to easy for the fuel to end up at the back of the tank and leave the pump dry it only takes 1 sec to lean out and kill an engine

It'll be fine, fit the 044 mate.

But, they do flow different pressures, but as our06T said, the reg "should" keep rail pressures the same.

It wont run any leaner with the 044, but get it on a dyno to cheack AFRs just to be 100% sure... 100 bucks for piece of mind dude

I think he was...lmao

I would have just gone with an intank pump from the beginning.

The reason why a lot of us have external pumps is to combat the surge issues which develop at higher power levels. The placement of the pick ups in the tank slurp air instead fuel at half tank or below when under heavy accelaration. Not good.

The best solution is to fit a surge tank and an inline pump. the original pump feeds the surge tank whilst the inline unit ensures enough fuel is being supplied.

I was not being sarcastic at all. the pump has nothing 2 do with the tune, your regulator will simply send the rest of the unused fuel from the fuel rail back 2 the tank. if u were to have any issues, which u wont, it would only be at idle being that the return on the reg is 2 small.
