That is the best way really, fix it yourself :bye:

Ford service is quite rediculas and I can't understand how some of these so-called mechanics can get away with working for them when they have no idea about what they are doing, I think the fact that they are privately owned makes a huge difference, they over charge, f*ck more than they fix and smile at you when telling you they could not fix the problem but had to have your car for a week... :stupid:

In conclusion: fix it yourself or get a PROFFESIONAL to do it and foreward the bill, if you are stuck with a complete disaster monday-built-car ... make it dissapear and buy a new one

:greddy2:

yeah ive been lucky so far, my AC stopped working cause my thermostat had a big hole in it or some crap.. took it in and they replaced it and re-gassed my AC at the same time.. no wuckers at all !!!!

of course they would re-gas it for you. when you replace the air con thermostat the air con gas has to sucked out of the system and stored, (it illegal to release it to the atmosphere).

however its quite possible you have paid to put your own gas back in it though. :crybaby:

just got my car serviced at a non ford dealer for the first time.

I brang it too the local mechanic he did all the usual etc but had to upgrade to stronger coolants as he thought the one ford put in was way to weak. and then he tells me while he was checking the brakes he found that one wasn't even on properly! the only other people who touched my car was ford service.

gos to show how much brains ford service have.

havent got half a clue about cars that they're sposed to be ''specialists'' in

ROFL I assumed he meant the thermostat in the radiator or something, not the AC one cause he reckoned they pulled apart the whole cooling system - I should have added that the car was overheating and the AC wasnt working... either way was a warranty job = free!

I asked what the hourly rate was that a Ford dealership charge... $126 an hour. And what do you get for 126 an hour, a young fella in his 2nd year as an apprentice getting paid I <3 Bananas all working on your pride n joy.

Sooooo 10 days later, no response from Metroford service.... Amazing isn't it, how they can just block out a complaint and an issue with a brand new car purchased form their dealership. Multiple messages and complaints and the only person who I get to talk to is the receptionist. She does a great job of scanning their calls!!
