Upgraded Intercooler

hey does anyone recomend an upgrade cooler for the xr5 or how much power can a standard one put out.

Mate, there isn't much out there in terms of power upgrades for the 5's yet. I know you can get a generic tune with some bolt on mods through most tuning houses (Dream Science tunes from UK) but never seen or been in a modded one personally...

my mate is runnin 1.2 bar I think in his xr5t n it stock as n seems to be holding up

Yes I too have seen one run this all day, it also had a Dreamscience flash and oh my goodness, it hammers. I certainly didn't expect it to be so quick!

plenty of bolt on mods to date for our car

the most popular choices for the front fridge are pro alloy, dreamscience, radtec, code red(chinese copy of pro alloy) intercoolers

ARE in Qld also have custom intercooler specifically designed for the OZ climate

Missed what? The question was answered incorrectly. There is PLENTY of mods for the xr5.

and wtf does strong theory have to do with an intercooler thread?

I amazed that some people go over to our forum and say we talk rubbish
