What's that supposed to mean?? I haven't heard that expression before, not being a smart arse...

spelt it wrong

touchie means you jump at the slightest touch

no I wasn't saying you have nfi , but give the new guy a chance if he proves himself to be a chief then burn him

and like I said hearsay is a dangerous thing

I think tuners are like dentist's they stress you out empty your wallet and yet you still go see them ,

Edited by our06t

I know what touchie means, was just unsure on the rest.

I don't think I burned him did I? Was only offering advice & saying that 360+ on standard squirters would result in tears... Which I stand by :clever-2:

My tuner's a good mate so I see him plenty, wallet full or empty! Haha

As I said, I've been in a CV car so can comment on them based on my experience. Tunehouse & all other NSW shops I have no clue about apart from what I have heard on here. Come to WA & I'll point you inj the right direction though :tonguepoke:

lol what he was saying to me was with a computer, (tune) he can get it to that power. 450kw is with a few mods obviously and the computer. Mechanics always say more than what they can really get. I really prefer it running safe as its only for work. I put the exhaust because I wanted a bit of sound and they wouldnt put anything else but this full exhaust kit which was all bolt and looked really good (factory finish). I don't mean to sound like a big headed *beep* but I'm only talkin on this forum for advice and to help others.

Any mechanic that "always say more than what they can really get" sound like dodgey ass con-men.

Good luck with your 360 on your simple mods.

keep in mind most people here live and breath these cars,

a lot of them drive theses very model ford turbos' and we all know what its like to drive them, but 5th gear spinning............ dude

mate I have just a few pointers ( summary of what has been posted)

1/ You need a custom tune for your exhaust , otherwise could go bang

2/ You will not get to 360rwlw with standard squirters ( where's the Wog lol)

3/ 450rwkw you will need more than just injectors etc. Turbo and actuator will need upgrades etc, etc

4/ I wouldn't believe what you are being told. This site has more information than any other place on the net

in regards to modifying these cars. There is a wealth of experience and R&D that does not support what you are being told.

5/ Pick up the phone and speak directly to some of the sites sponsors and discuss your requirements

None of us want to here of you blowing the motor in your new ride.

Over to you and good luck
