Guest Guests Posted 17/02/09 07:17 AM Share Posted 17/02/09 07:17 AM Fair enough. I've been in a CV tuned car & it went hard, plus hasn't had any major issues up until last I heard. Can't comment on Tunehouse except for what I've heard on here. I haven't heard that expression before, not being a smart arse...spelt it wrong touchie means you jump at the slightest touchno I wasn't saying you have nfi , but give the new guy a chance if he proves himself to be a chief then burn himand like I said hearsay is a dangerous thing I think tuners are like dentist's they stress you out empty your wallet and yet you still go see them , Edited 17/02/09 07:30 AM by our06t Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/54606-pvs-beast/page/5/#findComment-825046 Share on other sites
Guest Guests Posted 17/02/09 07:37 AM Share Posted 17/02/09 07:37 AM I know what touchie means, was just unsure on the rest.I don't think I burned him did I? Was only offering advice & saying that 360+ on standard squirters would result in tears... Which I stand by My tuner's a good mate so I see him plenty, wallet full or empty! HahaAs I said, I've been in a CV car so can comment on them based on my experience. Tunehouse & all other NSW shops I have no clue about apart from what I have heard on here. Come to WA & I'll point you inj the right direction though Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/54606-pvs-beast/page/5/#findComment-825062 Share on other sites

Mechanics always say more than what they can really get. I really prefer it running safe as its only for work. I put the exhaust because I wanted a bit of sound and they wouldnt put anything else but this full exhaust kit which was all bolt and looked really good (factory finish). I don't mean to sound like a big headed *beep* but I'm only talkin on this forum for advice and to help others. This site has more information than any other place on the net in regards to modifying these cars. There is a wealth of experience and R&D that does not support what you are being told.5/ Pick up the phone and speak directly to some of the sites sponsors and discuss your requirementsNone of us want to here of you blowing the motor in your new ride.Over to you and good luck Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/54606-pvs-beast/page/5/#findComment-825082 Share on other sites
