February 5, 200917 yr #2 Im thinkin it would probably work on a ute, Jman recently fitted some 10.5" wide rims on the back of his ute (BF though) that had a 42 offset (I think...).Cant help ya if its a sedan though... I think a 38 is ok for a sedan, im not 100% sure if a 42 would fit.Someone should be along fairly soon to confirm or let ya know though!BTW - Get some pics up if it happens lol... Phat!

February 5, 200917 yr #5 Standard offset is +36 so going to a +42 will pull the wheel in closer to the suspension I believe. Now since they are a 7 inch wide rim then you have reduced the width by 12.5mm each side of centre compared to a standard rim. So looking at the inside clearance from the suspension to the edge of the rim you will gain 12.5mm by going to a 7 inch rim but loose 6mm buy going to a +42 offset. So my opinion is they will fit if they still clear the calipers.Benny Edited February 5, 200917 yr by Benny
February 6, 200917 yr #7 narrower wheels with higher offset than stock. so you will have a narrower track + less rubber on the road. DO NOT DO THIS Edited February 6, 200917 yr by Erko
