I thought the sun roof option would of meant you got a pre-moulded body which has a hole in the roof and not just cut out later..

My old man has always told me not to put a sunroof in after market.. Easier for rust to take hold. Can anyone verify this, or is it just on old cars?

I work in a sunroof fitting house as a part time job while at uni and we take all measures to make sure that there are no bare metal surfaces or anything that could be left to rust or rattle......btw sunroofs are meant to leak, they have 4 drains that are in the A and B pillars to drain the water out....

but really there is no more chance of rust then in the standard car....the sunroof fitted car should also have a stronger roof......it's hard to explain but trust me it would be....(I study Engineering a uni)

Dave.
