Fuel Problem

Featured Replies

hey guys

went out to start the car this morning and.... no dice.

it cranks and everything and sometimes fires once but by once I mean not even running for a second.

I recently upgraded my fuel pump so I instantly though oh sh*t here we go so I checked all that stuff. I manually ran the pump (hose off the output into a jerry can) and its working fine. I pretty sure it sounds like a fuel problem cause I cant think of anything else it would be because its cranking fine? fuel filter is fine too. I thought it may have been a lack of fuel cause I parked on a mad sideways slope but its not that.

how can I check the fuel is making it to the fuel rail?

any other ideas on things to check? car is fairly stock except for cooler piping and tune.

hope its something simple (possible TPS) cause no one will be around to fix it untill monday.

well reset the tps... turn your car off and hold your foot down on the accelerator. try n start it about 10 times (it wont start) then take your foot off and return it to off and then start it.
