Its no harder than any other car mate, you just basically replace the bulbs and plug the HID kit in to the normal wires

Yes I have done a new FG GTP for a customer. We did a 70w hi/low kit to replace the H4 globe and then a H7 for the spotligts and a H11 for the fog light both in 35w. All up the car has 6 ballast 4 of them are silm line about 8mm high 50mm wide and 60mm long the one for the H4 is about the size of a pack of smoke that run 2 globes. The H4's are a dual filament globe. When you are on low one filament works but when you go to high both filaments work both globes are HID. All up time to fit was about 5.5 hrs Here are some photo of the ballast and globe all the globe are UV cut glass ( that stop you lens going yellow ) the big advantages of a hid globe is they run at about 1/4 of the heat of a halogen globe very low power cosumption ie 35w hid uses about 3.2 amps per globe and yes you can turn them on and off as much as you like and there is No burn in time. Your globe will be at 85% of power with in 3/5 sec of start up and with the dual filament because one stays on all the time there is no split seconds of darkness as the hid warms up.

wtf?

I have a single globe which moves in and out for hi/lo. I went for the 10k globe.

Not to sure about doing fog lights and high beams as I hardly ever use high beams... and fog lights is an instant fine, not to mention I already get too much attention from the low beams alone.
