No people would have had to stop doing the productive things they were doing, to listen to meaningless political rethoric, with no real basis (think I spelled rethoric wrong (insert lies)). ONly to feel dumber for having done so.

Would have been better to see the useless *beep* with a chainsaw or broom or something in his hand instead of just tarting it up in front of the cameras....but that's expecting a bit too much I guess.

I went through Kenmore as it was happening, in the Phoon.. Wished we were in the Daewoo work car as it really needs a bath..

It was seriously wild, it seemed like midnight it was so dark, but it was 4:00pm...

A big arse branch went over the windscreen and roof, but did nothing. YAY!

I was in a congo line of a few cars, and we could barely maintain more than 50 kph.

It`s 11:57pm as I type this, I`ve just come in from pulling up the grates over the drains in the backyard. It`s been pouring for a while with HUGE claps of thunder.

Last really big one set off the alarm on my drive to work sh!tbox daewoo. I saw a big red flash outside and woop woop woop woop..

I get up to turn off, me sister comes in ` it`s flooded out here `

Teach me to pick stuff up, battery charger got soaked, trolly jack..

It`s still flogging down too..

Maybe we`ll be allowed to wash our cars with the hose soon :D this has gotta be filling Wivenhoe Dam up, surely to Christ..

Back to bed and the 4:30am alarm...

Same in Perth as I type..

Lots of thunder / lightning and heavy rain (just heavy rain, not lots of it). Unusual weather for us in November.

Its crazy weather buddy but I think we should expect more of it this summer.... Still be bloody hot though.

Just browsing Performance Forums now and the owner of the site posted pics of the storm in QLD. You see that stuff on the news and sure its bad but when the pics show bulk damage everywhere its pretty scary stuff!

And just as I typed that, a MASSIVE thunder struck less than 300m from our house (saw the flash then sound about 1/2 a second later) and my internet disconnected LOL

I think I need to change my undies as well hah

I`ll tell you the thunder clap that set off the car alarm earlier, it was flashBANG!!! big red flash I saw through the bedroom curtain too.. Lucky it did really, we`d have water in the house if I hadn`t have got up and unblocked the grates.

Last time I did was a few weeks ago in the hail, it was like fishing around in the slurry at the bottom of an esky, sh*te it was cold.

No probs tonight, I was out there in underpants....

My Phoon has a mist of water on it blown through the back of the carport.. Atleast it`s not hail.
