01/11/08 10:13 PM01/11/08 10:13 PM #1 Was on a UK based forum discussing cars obviously, and some one happened to post this pic up of a car they saw at a car show!! Thought it was interesting, has an aftermarket FMIC.
01/11/08 10:29 PM01/11/08 10:29 PM #2 Hmmm, BA Mk2 with a monza by the looks of it!Any other info Brad?
01/11/08 11:37 PM01/11/08 11:37 PM #4 They also have AU XR6/8 over there, but they call them a 'Verte'. Very ghey.I.B.
01/11/08 11:46 PM01/11/08 11:46 PM #5 was it a car show in the UK? that would b interesting. The number plate looks like a Kiwi plate.
02/11/08 06:14 AM02/11/08 06:14 AM #6 I have never understood why FMCA have never put a export program in place for Europe...Considering for years and years we have been taking imported Fords from all over the world...I guess FMC think that in 2010 by us building the standard range of Focus's this will be a trade off!hhhhmmmm :banghead:
02/11/08 07:23 AM02/11/08 07:23 AM #7 Author Ive got no info on it at all Pat, apparently he used it tow his show car to the car show and just put the ute on display as well. He is not a member of the other forum im on. The number plate looks like a Kiwi plate.Nah its UK mate. Heres a quote from another member: He brought it back to England with him after a spell in Australia. It looks mint. My two boys think it's great and one of them bagged a ride in it and got out beaming.
02/11/08 09:32 PM02/11/08 09:32 PM #8 Author These pommy guys seem to be finding it difficult that I could actually have 300rwkw.... I think those sort of power levels to them are not common??? I threw up a few other dyno sheets in the 400 and 500rwkw level... That stressed em out!!!!!
02/11/08 09:50 PM02/11/08 09:50 PM #9 200 bhp is massive to most of em because alot of their vehicles are 1.5-2.0L! Unless its a merc or beemer with a big supercharged engine, its mostly alien to the Poms. Had a bloke in from Germany the other day, wondering if there was a LHD export program for the falcon utes - oh the irony...
03/11/08 12:09 AM03/11/08 12:09 AM #10 very interesting.I remember that Wheels Mag once drove a Blueprint T around Europe for a few days.....this would have been back in 04 or so from memory. Car was on the cover. We've seen a B series GT on the Nurburgring too, another pommy owner.
