Mate I have a couple of hundred timeslips in my cupboard although only been racing for a few years. Book my ticket John, would love to come up and drive yours. Better yet, come done here and we can line them up together, that would be a buzz.

My Plazmaman kit gets fitted this week , so I will be testing that out next weekend. :)

haha it would be a sight that's for sure. not only the only 2 in the country (that I know of) but some not so slow ones as well. should be good fun testing it out hey. I cant wait to see what it will pull off on the dyno & down the track. my plenum should turn up on thursday/friday, we plan to fit it this weekend & its gettin tuned next week. the only thing holdin the show up is the new gauge. no point goin down there without it again. I bet ya havin a few sleepless ones waitin for it to all happen? I know I am, even after all the other crap ive done its still like christmas everytime. cant wait to see the results on both as well. like my new avatar. that's me practising my skids for launching :beerchug:

John, you don't NEED the gauge, use the force!

Will be awesome, we should have very similar setups soon so it will be interesting to see how they compare. Can't wait to get mine back, I am very excited.

Like your new avatar, where there's a Flare there is smoke. Needs to be a bit bigger though.

Sorry for the thread hijack Richard.

iam but an apprentice. idiot proof is the go. should all be pretty similar so your right it will be a good comparison, only diff is I need a whole lot of practise. its fun learning but frustrating because I am so far from the track its a planned effort everytime. im happy if I see improvements everytime I go down there, which I would assume should happen with the goodies that im puttin into this time around. cant wait to try them out!!! keep me up to date with how its goin with it on the dyno & when ya go down the track. will probaly be goin down at the same time. I want to go next weekend but like I said earlier its up to the gauge. I dont want to take the risk with the driveline goin pop with me gettin over excited & tryin to launch it at 20psi haha that would be fun.

G'Day fellas, I'm looking at going to the next test and tune at willowbank to see what my xr6T can do.I have this KNOB RICER at work who has a stock twin turbo supra who tried to tell me that his mate has a T making 370hp ATW and all he could only pull a flat 14. He wont come out and have a run (scared of losing) but persists on saying that I wont get in the 13's. I made 332.8HP ATW with a FFII custom 9psi tune from RDP, K&N panel filter and modified airbox. I plan to stall get a good reaction time and shift manually at 5250. Oh and I just did the solinoid maintenence that really did help the power come on earlier. What does everyone think I will pull. I hope he's not right.

Dont worry about reaction time it doesnt change your ET, just focus on getting it launched properly and you'll be fine. Practice and experience can make a big difference on the track so dont be afraid to try different tyre pressures, launch techniques, shift points etc.. and have fun, getting hung up on numbers isn't worth it.
