Whats louder/sound better.. Straight thru pipes or hot dogs?

I have heard both and I think that hotdogs are the better sounding exhausts, straight thru is louder but hotdogs gives it that better note.

I just had my rear muffler removed, after reading all the forum's I think having the centre muffler removed may have been a little load. But very happy with the sound now, very nice note and can still go stealth, has no drone through the car either. Would recommend having the rear muffler removed.
