Now I'm trying to convince him we should build a 65/66 Mustang Fastback (Awesome car IMO) and instead of putting a V8 in it we should do something a little different and drop a Typhoon or XRT motor in it.The big question is will it fit. Has anoyne heard of or seen a XRT or Typhoon motor in any Mustang? or does anyone know the dimensions? Thanks Edited 21/08/08 10:18 AM by IEATV8S Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/48891-typhoon-motor-in-65-mustang/ Share on other sites

If the mustang is similar then I'd say no worries As Rapid said though, its the height which usually is the limiting factor. For the one shown below, he is going to graft in the XB GT bonnet which has a sizeable bulge on the bonnet so it will all fit.http://www.perthfalcons.com.au/index.php?showtopic=409 Edited 21/08/08 10:54 AM by XF Falcon Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/48891-typhoon-motor-in-65-mustang/#findComment-721481 Share on other sites
