When taking a corner accelerating a bit harder I'm getting like a grinding noise which sounds like its coming from the back of the gearbox or diff. It only happens when you apply a bit more power and as soon as you back off the power it goes away.I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this?Also anyone been experiencing other issues?

Spent the day on the car and were unable to find the issue.They rang Ford and their apparently their flying a technician up to go over it and resolve the issue next Thursday.I have to say I'm impressed with the level of service.

FordMember1559 Legacy Donating Member 148 Member For: 18y 5m 5d Gender: Male Posted 31/07/08 10:00 PM Author Posted 31/07/08 10:00 PM Picked the car up last night and looks like the issue has been resolved.Apparently they claim that when the motor was installed into the car it was a bit off centre I.e the drive line wasn't centred and causing the issue.They loosened the motor, gearbox,diff mounts and re aligned everything and re tensioned it and she's good as gold. I suggest you take it right in as you could do some damage to you CV's and tailshaft.

I'm expecting the "modulate the right foot" response but seriously think there is an issue there.
