Loving my T and currently done 1500kms and have noticed an alarming issue. When taking a corner accelerating a bit harder I'm getting like a grinding noise which sounds like its coming from the back of the gearbox or diff. It only happens when you apply a bit more power and as soon as you back off the power it goes away.

I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this?

Also anyone been experiencing other issues?

Don't think so as the TC light doesn't come on. It's quite a disturbing sound as you can feel vibrations come thru the floor.

Just an update as I took it to the dealer today and they agreed something is not right. Spent the day on the car and were unable to find the issue.

They rang Ford and their apparently their flying a technician up to go over it and resolve the issue next Thursday.

I have to say I'm impressed with the level of service.

I have the same issue, I thought it was traction control as well.

Untill I turned it off.

Let me know what your outcome is, so I know to hassle ford for the resolution.

Picked the car up last night and looks like the issue has been resolved.

Apparently they claim that when the motor was installed into the car it was a bit off centre I.e the drive line wasn't centred and causing the issue.

They loosened the motor, gearbox, diff mounts and re aligned everything and re tensioned it and she's good as gold.

I suggest you take it right in as you could do some damage to you CV's and tailshaft.

Sounds like the same thing mine does, diff sounded like it wanted to part ways with the car.

I had the 3000km service done today so just have to go pick it up and see if they found anything. I'm expecting the "modulate the right foot" response but seriously think there is an issue there.
