2004 Ba Mki Valve Spring Change...

Hey guys,

Saw a fellow in the for sale section recently selling a set of BF II valve springs and a set of (atomics?) I believe?

In a BA I know you have to change them if you want any power as they crap out under relatively tame mods.

My question is - is it worth changing the springs to a 2nd hand set of BF II springs or would you just get a set of atomics or nizpro's or something similar?

Was thinking mods along the lines of; (Eventually...)

Monza intercooler

Flash tuner/Custom tune

Hi flow CAT (Or removing it :ifiusethisimafag: )

Typhoon CAI

Injectors

Front/rear sway bars

Upgraded brakes

New Valve springs (BF II/Nizpro/Atomics)

Exhaust system

imo just get nizpro's from the start. The've stood the test of time.

There not that dear either. Got mine for 600 bucks installed from a site sponsor.

that's a damn good price xrpete, can I ask who it was, PM me if you want. Most places I asked was about $900 supply/install

as for getting the BFII springs, most tuners I talked to said dont bother for an extra $130 they install better springs so dont skimp as its only $130 difference

I got nizpro springs off ebay from sport compact in canberra for 290 and fitted for 330 from my local mechanic. He said to a mate of mine that went there that he will only fit for them for 500 CASH from now on as he had a sh*t of a time doing mine.

My Atomics were $335 and $495 to fit em.
