Newy Cruise To Wollombi 13 July

Meat at newy maybe thornton macca's around 9am

head down f3 to wyong exit (we will go through the twin servos for a top up of fuel caltex)

through yarramalong up bumble hill

into kulnura along george downs drv

through bucketty ,laguna

and stop at wollombi tavern for lunch and a rest

then decide wich way we want to go home

nothin like cold mountain air to bring out the best in a turbo

let me now

Doesn't have to be limited to turbo's got a mate with anice car bring em along

be a nice round about trip to run that new motor in Muzza

Newcastle meeting point Thornton Macca's 9am leave at 9.15

Meeting point for people south of wyong Tuggerah westfield 10 am leave at 10.30

please bring a uhf radio if you can

Sydney people more than welcome

as for meeting at the twin servos ,they are actually 10 mins past the wyong exit heading north,and the wyong exit is where we will get off heading south so some where around the wyong exit would be a good spot

At this stage it looks like we will come back through the mountains the same way we go to wollombi ,so for sydney guys they can shoot straight threw to peats ridge to get home

keep the feed back coming where gettin closer ,

Thorton to Tuggerah 70km 45mins

Tuggerah to Kulnura 30km 26mins

Kulnura to Wollombi 62km 55mins

For guys coming from Syd it is 66km 41mins from Waroongah to Tuggerah

This looks like the starting list so far lat me know if you want on or off the list IT WILL BE ON THE 13TH

All these are always planned on weekends I work, so fagged, Got 20s today and will take some photos tomorrow just got home from work, rollin on big mofos now, decided to keep the orange beast an enjoy it got more plans for the exterior to.

Yeh there are a couple of spots that are in need of a fix up ,but it's really the road from wyong to wollombi that's the best bit one patch at laguna where it's better to go easy that's about it

So we'll make the 13th a start date for now and see how that goes

20th suits me, count me in for the 13th or the 20th, maybe if everyone can't make it we could do 2 runs, one on one weekend just to krispy kremes and the other on the other run, just a suggestion...

whats everyones thoughts on a run from ,newy up freeway to peats ridge exit ,back through what I think is the best local road in the state (wisemans ferry rd / george downs drv) to wollombi then from wollombi back through cessnock and freemans waterhole to the freeway

Sounds like a very good cruise, I was out wisemens ferry earlier in the year and thought a cruise that way would be a good idea. Consider the Sydney ppl joinging in and a more neutral meeting point and im sure alot of us would join along if were wellcome enough, unless your running a small local cruise.

The twin caltex on the freeway should be on the way and we could meet there-ish.

I might be up for it, dont put me as a starter depends how I feel, if I can be stuffed making a 2 hour drive from sydney THEN going on a cruise, there are a few people in Newy I have been meaning to catch up with for a while so could do the whole 2 birds with 1 stone thing.

If you decide on the Twin Caltex you can count me in for sure
