Guy's here are the facts

you gain 10kw for each piece of chrome you add to the car

so at 240kw you would need around 22.2 pieces of chrome to get 462Kw so it is quite possible.

If the engine bay was fully chromed.

On the otherhand the car might be legit and he is not telling you what it really has had done to it, plenty of people have fast cars and tell you smaller mods so you don't copy them.

I dont actually like chrome that much and was looking into getting some powdercoated bits n pieces. Could you tell me who much xtra power I could expect to gain? Parts looking at... plenum, Battery cover ECU cover and the water resivior. I'm not sure if it makes adifference but I was thinking Ford blue but if there is a faster colour would you please let me know.

I recon its quite possible, theres a place over here in wa called C-Red tuning they got a ls1 twin turbo'd up doing "aparently" 700kw's they always in the drifts/burnouts comps. the ls1 is in a old nissan chassy, not sure which 1 but its a old red maroon ish, I know its not a skyline body or silva body but yeh
