I'll echo the more recent posters.

The push-back-into-your-seat method for measuring power is silly schoolyard type talk. The 0-100kmh or ¼ mile time is the real measure of acceleration. What you feel is misleading.

Who on earth wants a peaky 4cyl engine running on high boost which delivers its power in an awkward bunch. Shocking for city driving. Peak power figures can be misleading too.

MVP, just buy a manual, its clearly what u want. If you want utterly effortless and massive torque then youre on the right forum. If you want awesome precise steering and handling then go the EVO caper...and enjoy the massive insurance bill. :dontknow:

Don't get rid of the T just yet castro, they ain't all that bad! Once the torquey monster gets up and going, there's no stopping it! Talk to a site sponsor and get yourself a tune mate, you will never look back!!!

Here are my comments on "Pushback"

Standard T, very linear power delivery, just like a NA XR6 but keeps building power until redline.

Standard F6 Typhoon... a little bit of pushback (5 speed manual), not as much pushback as a Sti

XR6T with generic tune 8psi-10psi, a little bit of pushback.... Still nothing like a Boosted Rex or EVO

XR6T with 12-15psi.... Has some serious shove in the back... big difference when on and off boost... Feels very fast, really moving... Longer gears than Rex so feels like your gonna follow through with your punch...

STi with more boost... serious shove in the back but gears are gone too quickly...
