Got a BF1, with the 6p auto. Sometimes when I slow down, just from normal driving I get a thud in the rear end. I only hear it and I can not feel it when im driving, but its now getting anoying. Im guessing Diff area??

Only started in the past few weeks, happening about once a day and only when slowing down for lights and whatever. Not flogged or gearing down hard, I let the box do it itself most of the time on the normal driving days.

Any ideas you gurus?

I.B.

Yeah pretty common for diff clunks mate... some try to get the diff fixed/replaced, other (such as myself) just put up with it lol

Yes but if it gets worse you will probably end up with a huge clunk .... broken diff bolt, just when you don't want it to happen; or when you try to take off quickly.

Been there.
