Good on ya for having a crack mate but wouldn't it be cheaper to just trade in the NA and get a XR6T? That's basically what you'll end up with anyway, except the resale value will kill you later on down the track :buttrock:

yeh man that's true but I got the car as a 18th b-day present and iv had enough savings to buy one anyway, so with that being said it will be just as the same if I bought it with my own money... but instead ill have a very neat new sleeper which id get bak the money I put into it, if u get wat I mean:) thx heaps for the post but bruz;)

There is no way you will get your money back if you spend the money modifying it and sell it off at a later date.

There are guys who have spend over $10K on their cars and only get a few thou more, if that in some cases, than a standard one.

Unless you have all the parts handy and they are very very cheap it is not really a worth while conversion.

I dont want to put you off but this is just what I think.

Cheers and :buttrock:

the xr6 T looks exactly the same as the NA xr6 so it will be no more a sleeper

I was hoping it would be an XT!

XR6 is as much of a sleep as a debadged XR6T!!!!

I'm with the hairdresser, put an XT kit on a 300rwkw T, now THAT would be a good sleeper.

I'll see your post and raise you a 350rwkw white BA wagon with hubcaps

Stick the whole running gear in a base-model (XT?) Territory. That'd be entertainment. Or, throw it an an AU ford, cause everyone knows they were the VN of the ford range.
