If anyone remembers motors test few months ago where they dynoed HSV and SS, HSV's power output was almost identical to SS. So if this engine really does have 317 kw it will be much more then 10kw over the current range. They would have been well aware of that. Its picked up 10kw but no extra torque, and fuel economy gones up a little bit.I laughed a bit about how they talk it up saying that there customers expect the latest and greatest and they scoured the world for new technology. What a load of sh*t. They had no choice because they can't get the LS2 anymore, and all they did was pick up the phone and say hello GM, fill those boxes you send engines to us with with LS3's, not LS2's. So hard.
