  6. It will probably be absolute pressure. Does it make more sense if you subtract approx. 101kpa/14.7psi?
  7. Be careful doing 2 lots, customs can still pull you up if you get multiple packages totalling over the $1000 limit arriving at around the same time. They also include freight cost when calculating the value of the item ($900AU item + $200AU postage = $1100AU value according to them).
  8. Toyo Proxes4, I got these after the factory dunflops were rooted after 25,000kms. Much better traction, especially in the wet, and they are lasting longer without the grip level dropping off noticably. The rears are down to approx. 2mm off the tread marker and they still grip as well as new. I don't notice any undue noise, but the ute is pretty noisy anyway. I paid $320 a tyre a while back, $260 is a bit of a bargain I reckon. Maybe another one to chuck in the list is the Marangoni Mythos', mate has them on his VZ Calais and they seem pretty quiet and grippy. From memory they are around the low to mid 300 mark, I'm thinking of trying a set next on mine.
  9. I don't notice mine running any different when I have the dose pipe on and BOV removed and blocked. Notice heatsoak a bit more in hot weather cause of where the filter is with the dose pipe, but that's about it. Some people say it damages turbos, some say it doesn't. Fairly hot topic so probably best to leave it alone It's been covered before here I'm pretty sure, best to do a search. -SteveR-, check the hose to the BOV mate, there's a chance it could be cracked/fallen off, which would be a vacuum leak and would mess with the MAP sensors reading making the engine run rich.
  10. you'll notice chicks lifting their tops as you drive past, true story. did you block the vac line that went to the top of the BOV when you removed it? if not, theres your problem.
  11. I had this issue on the weekend, and I got told to have ignition in ON, then disconnect +VE terminal on battery. Alarm went off when I did it that way. Left ignition in ON, with battery connected, and just unplugged the siren itself, and that worked. Yet a mate with a Force6 tried the method that worked for me, and the alarm went off. He'd also previously tried ignition ON then disconnect -VE on battery, which also set the alarm off. I am utterly confused as to what the correct procedure is, but hopefully one works for you.
  12. Wow, what sort of tyres would you guys class as a good tyre? What size have you both had them in also, I've found a fairly large difference between sizes of the same make tyre (SP3000s, really good in 225/50R16, not so good in 235/45R17)? You should probably never try any of the really cheap rubber coming out of China either, if you think Marangonis are bad you are not going to like a set of 'Clears' or 'Triangles' LOL
  13. Anyone back-to-backed these with the Toyo Proxes4 in 245/35 19?
