I'd just filled it with 100octane pump fuel so I could run more boost witout pinging. Took it out to a "private road I own" stopped to show him how well it launches took off in first pretty hard and because I haven't been running it on the higher setting wasn't ready for how hard it came on. I was too slow on the shift and overreved the motor and it hit the limiter and Bang! oil light comes on straight away with a rather horrible rattle from the front of the motor.I've taken it too my mate's workshop and he's going to pull it down on tueday morning and let me know how bad it is.I was told when I bought it that even though the oil pump had been cryo'd it still couldn't handle high rpm but I guess you just have too find out something's yourself. I'm just hoping that I haven't starved the bearings of oil and damaged them in the 10 to 15sec it took me to stop.I'll post some pics if I can on tuesday night.Aaron,
