Especially those in the general western suburbs area, a highway patrol in a unmarked red Ford FPV Typhoon with green P's on has been seen on numerouse occasions, and he will go you of the lights. just got home from WSID n he raced a car of the lights and calmly pulled in behind him..

Personally im F***n jealose... id LOVE to be in a FPV highway patrol catchin hoons, but jsut a warning to good drivers whos can slip over.

Police luring and provoking people to speed is not good policing. What if a major accident occurs or someone is killed from this bahaviour ???

Just another thing to show it's all about the dollars and the targets....

On a seperate note I see police cars breaking the law at least a few times a week. I have seen mobile phone usage, speeding, failing to indicate, even a burnout just to name a few.

Most of the police are fine but there are always that odd few who spoil their reputation...

There is no "entrapment" laws in this country.

I am sure if you videoed a cop trying to street race you, the forum of public opinion would not condone this type of policing, especially if on some trash show like TT or ACA.

I guess that police are trying to stop street racing and traffic light GPs. They have been using unmarked cars with P plates for as long as I can remember.

I guess you just need to be sus of any P plater driving a $50k+ car, or just do not street race.

With all the recent media hype about hoons and elderly people being killed by street racing, I expect the cops will be doing a lot more of this covert policing.

Theres also that goldy metallic coloured typhoon around the hoxton park area. Thursday when I went to do my V8 race drive session it was sitting infront of the Speed camera on cowpasture road with a marked hwp XR6T & 8 bikes.

On the way home VZ SS Ute on the back of a tray top getting towed away. Major defect for you :spoton:
