I looked at some others with the black trim and spokes but just seemed to clash with the ute. These are only new and I am the first to have them put on(apparently, sales pitch?) but they good against the ute so I'm going with them. What ya think.">The one on the rear haas the 2 black spokes between the silver and just did'nt do it for me. It's probably little consolation but considering the conditions you may have gotten out of it lightly :oohwoah: Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/42447-lotsa-rain-new-rims/page/2/#findComment-631960 Share on other sites

I don't even think stability control would save the day either. Just gotta get off the accelerometer and steer gently and pray.Pretty scarey stuff, and yep, very lucky. Just as the car stopped another truck came around the corner and had it been a few seconds later it would have been all over...3 near misses in about 10-15 seconds... go figure...Got out ripped the bumpber off as it was under the back wheel and drove it the rest of he way back to Albury...Next morning it was at the mates panel shop... some serious damage, but ended up getting it fixed after 3 weeks of stuffing around, and well far to much money! Split the under cartage or something he said... if it wasnt a mates rates job, and cash it would have been a total write off... was very bad... guys in the tier shop couldnt believe the amount of rubber missing from the one flat spot, brand new tire with full tread everywhere except the one flat spot... took all the rubber off down to below the wear mark... they kept the tire to show the good year rep when he came into the store next.. never heard anymore but...So lucky not to have been collected by one of the two trucks, or over the edge...I always fly back to Albury now, unless someone else is driving through that area!Still scares me a bit each time I go past!
