Its still driveable, however the sounds is so annoying!

The worst thing though, (Bit off topic) My ipod and Ipod cable got stole from my car when it was in with Ford. They rang me this morning, and said they will replace it, but still! Dodgy bastards!

And they didnt wash my car, god that annoys me!

Hi Dorko - Just a quick question - Just going by your signature your car has obviously been modified.... how lucky are you that ford are even fixing your car under warrnity when you car is modified? I know this is a little off topic but im going through the whole thought process of modifying my car but dont want to give up the warranity! I just want to know if you know something I dont know!

Newl- It was Center Ford in Northbridge. Previously my experience was very good. This time everythign was piss poor.

I still cant beleive they stole my ipod. Arghhh! I just loaded the best oldies songs!

Michael, They didnt even mention the custom tune. They just said no probs, its under warranty. But I guess they know what im like. I have a habit of jumping up and down.

I'd be glad that they didn't wash my car. I'm sure a good old fashioned broom wash isn't good for anyones cars paint

If they scratch my paint, they will pay for it. I have never had a problem with them cleaning the car. Plus it gets detail monthly. And my detailer is anal as.

my diff is a little noisy but has never failed even with one wheel, wheel stands and slicks, It's been noisy for years and is no worse so im happy, might put some new bearings in it soon. as for the washing part I work at a car dealer and we get alot of complaints we dont wash cars anymore but because of water retrictions we are not aloud to wash them, not to say that your dealer doesnt have an alternative

Ive been waiting 8 #$%^^% weeks now for my diff under wrranty still Ford havent got it in yet.

The problem is the hardening on the bearings it wears away(a fault from Dayna diff) at about 60,000 onwards not all but most fords utes/sedans get a whinning noise.Mines 05 BF has done 80000kms now and the noise is unbearable from 70kms to 110km I have to turn up the stereo major just so I cannot hear it.I drive around all day its $@%$## CRAP

Don't tell me that! I want to here the diffs come within a couple of weeks. My Diff noise is getting worst. I do the same, stereo up!

Let me know when you get your diff.

Sounds like a normal ford :D

I'd suggest putting in some extra thick oil. Castrol SRF7 (or similar) is what I used in my dogbox in my old race car. Worked well in my old AU ute as well. That had quite a noisy diff (changed under warranty twice as well)

They changed it twice? Bloody hell they are crap diffs then!
