Nice setup you're planning, show us some pics on the weekend - if you need a hand (read advice) give us a holler, I can assist on the puter-side of things .

Enjoy, it's a nice hobby.

Thanks Mr Bean,

I actually installed the carputer about a month ago under the passangers

seat but yesterday I riped everything back out and I will be relocating it

in the boot.

I really liked your set up that's what got me working on my one.

I will post some picture of stage 1 tonight.

Yep, I am looking forward to this one!!

It is true as you say, once you start, you can't put down tools until you at least test it...hehe

Boys and their toys, but damn, it is so nice to be a boy - even a 40-year old one - rofl.

I am in discussion with a "friend" that works at the engineering company that does the original injection moulding of the Ford Fascia, as the PPO they use is notoriously difficult to weld, or glue, very dissimilar to ABS plastic, so he reckons if I make a model, they can do a mould and then manifacture me a new "factory" fascia, but which will allow fitting my 10.4" LCD as if it was factory.

I need to shop around to see if there would be interest for something similar from the guys over here, so I will open a new thread tonight.

Good going, post up the pics, and we can comment.

Hey Guy's

I have added some pictures of the project. Feel free to let me know what you think?

ADVICE:

I ran the high to low level converter off the left hand speaker and wired it to the amp. everytime a stereo song plays the sub tunes in with the music so I flicks on and off with the song. how do I make the sub play regardless of what comes out of the left or right speaker? is there a setting so I can change the music to mono?

is it taking the maximum space in can in the area behind the seats?

would u have the dimensions of it?

I'm in the middle of a system upgrade myself and am looking at some options..

cheers.

that is a massive screen dude, won't that be a little distracting when you are driving - and liable to get the wrong kind of attention from the cops???
