Ba Gt Front Bar N The Like

hey all, im after a new front bar for my BA ...looking to get a BA GT front bar for it but not sure where in melb to go ? n who does them, how much etc ?

anyone in melb know of any good places to go n get this done ?

sad day for me. my front bar got scratched n altho I probably could buff most of it out, im using this as an excuse to get an upgrade lol

My Typhoon Bar cost me $840 to buy and get it up here,

$500 for paint,

$110 for driving lights,

$35 for lights wiring loom,

$15 for Ford Badge,

$120 for foam mounting,

$1620 total.

That sounds like a lot. I got mine for $365, Then $120 to send to WA, $200 for paint, $55 for driving lights and I have a XR6 so the wiring was allready there for the lights.

hay give Fibre Sports a ring as they do the kits and can paint it for you.

Unless you got flakes through your paint it shouldn’t cost anywhere near $500. $200+/- is the better rough guess.

Its from Fibresports, its the bumper, driving light covers, driving lights, grille.

hay give Fibre Sports a ring as they do the kits and can paint it for you.

They wont paint it as they cant guarantee it wont get damaged in transport.

My bar is two colours, the mouth and driving light covers are seperate colours. $200 for prep and paint??? What with a spray can?

My bar cost $640 plus $180 freight to Cairns. I bought the bar, driving light covers and there poxy driving lights, hence the $820 total.

I then decided to get the correct FPV driving lights, so I had to buy a loom from Fraud to go from the driving lights into the XR loom. Could of bodged it with bullet connectors but prefered it done right.

that's wat it cost, couldnt of done it any cheaper.

iv been quoted 2400 for front bumper and xr8 bonnet painted, surely I can get this cheaper? this was thru fibre

Will they supply it painted? I tried to get mine painted but they told me they would not transport it as it could get damaged.

That price sound about right.
