Gauge Pod..

Hi all still waiting on delivery of the ute but it is on the way. Anywho I was looking around the other night on here and seen something about gauge pods from autobarn and to ask for one for a Expensive Daewoo something or rather but after alot of searching I can't seem to find the post. Can some one please point me in the right direction as what to ask for as I went out to autobarn and all they had was pilla mounted pods and nothing in the book for bf's. And while I have your attention what is a good brand to look for in gauges. I only want a boost gauge and and maybe oil or water temp.

Hey mate!

If you want a good set up made especially for the XR6, Pole Position (one of the site sponsors) have a nice tripod guage mount which is designed to fit right into your car. I ordered one a few weeks back and the quality is excellent. If you really want to make life easy you can order a set of x-force guages from them too as a package. The pod has been designed to accomodate the guages so its a pretty nice setup. THey had a good deal going on them a few weeks back, not sure if this is still current.

Seriously if you want a nice setup, lots of people from this forum are using the Tripod and the xforce guages and it looks the goods!

if you are still going to Autobarn, you ask for the SS inductions gauge pod, and th autometer cobalt gauges, they are a bit pricey, especially compared to the value that is to be had with the tripod and x-cite gauges

Thanx senna, I think I will go with the tripod from pole position seems a better price after lookig around a bit down here in Tas(we have nothing, well that I could find)
