Did anybody have to do this, particularly on a manual car? Which route through the firewall did you use on a manual car? That is where I put all my things. If not, how are they for brightness at night? Joey Member 182 Member For: 17y 7m 6d Gender: Male Location: Australind, WA Posted 25/11/07 11:55 PM Share Posted 25/11/07 11:55 PM Not sure about these guages, but if they are the same as the xforce ones you should have a dedicated dimmer wire. This wire will dim the guage lights when it has 12v running through it (I assume that's how it works) you can hook it up to the wire that runs into your fog light switch, not sure what wire it is but there is one there that will run 12V when your headlights are on (obviously you cant have your fog lights on without your headlights). Hope this helps. You should search for the thread though because there is a few in-depth guage install threads with wire colours and all that jazz Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/40034-ozegauge-autogauge-install-query/#findComment-600423 Share on other sites
