go bigger then, something like a 3.5" split dump and front pipe with a 5" cat into dual 2.5" system with good flowing mufflers should see you into big numbers, or you could always just do a full 4" system, both work well!

umm, I'm not sure about pricing - up to two grand maybe if its stainless

I've got a stock dump and dual 2.5" with high flow cat, so you don't need to go too extreme for 300, when you go for 350+ that's when you need big exhaust

I would suggest a 3.5 inch system, good for over 300kw. Xforce is fairly popular at the moment and a full system can be pick up for under $1900 or if you are short of cash rip the stock cat out and put in a 3.5inch metal cat.

True Iam making over 300 kw with a std cat back system with no centre muffler. You just need a good cat,( but while your there you may as well fit a new dump pipe as well, because you know your only going to do it later ,,,Arron

Back to the intercooler subject, eveyone has indicated that the wog coolers etc are much better.

If your running mild mods on your car, I would assume that you couldnt do any harm by upgrading to the F6 cooler if that's all you could afford.

The question is, is it that much better than the stock XR6T.

Im curious to know cause Im actually in the same position and cant justify spending $1,000 at this stage. Will be running about 280 at the wheels next week.

it really depends on if the mod bug has bitten you

there is no point in going to a F6 cooler if you plan on going for bigger power in the future

but on the other hand if you know you will happy at 280 or so at the wheels then it should be fine.
