Has anyone got that annoyed with the heat shields rattling that they have taken

them off?

Does it make much difference to the heat raising up through the car floor?

I'm tired of the noise.

Is there a way of stopping your shields rattling ??

Fraud and all the car manufactures build cars as cheap as they can, So to be honest do you think these shields would be fitted if they didn't need to be think about it. Also depends on if your car is driven long distance not talking one side of a city to the other but big miles 4, 5 hundred klicks at a time just my 2c worth be it right or wrong

mine rattled, so the boys in service put a kind of hose clamp around them, that stopped it, they knew about the problem, speak to a dealer if you don't want to take them off

just to clarify, is this the exhaust shield around exhaust or the exhaust shield at the back of the turbo?

well I'm talking about the one on the cat section of the exhaust, you'd be stupid to remove the heat shielding from the standard turbo and dump unless you put a turbo blanket or ceramic coated dump, the amount of heat soak into the engine bay is massive even with the shields or bag there!

yeah my one around the cat rattles too. are the standard clamps that are there easy to tighten up, or do you have to buy some big clamps and put them on yourself?

any suggestions on which parts to put my own clams on? or is it basically wherever the standard ones are you replace with better ones?
