A few times it did kick over and when it did it idled really rough for about 7 seconds then died...Pushed it to the mechanics which was very close by and he checked under the car to see if the fuel pump was working....it was...Anyway the mechanic is busy for a bit but thought someone out there might have an idea?????Thanks guys....

However the car had nearly half a tank of petrol before I topped it up anyway...don't think it would be the fuel 'cus it's from a big BP centre.....could just be coincidence I would think????

gilto Member 218 Member For: 19y 2m 19d Gender: Male Posted 17/10/07 01:13 PM Author Posted 17/10/07 01:13 PM Hi guys ok problem is sorted and the T lives another day.A guy was called with a diagnostic computer to come look at the car...anyway he hooked up his machine and there were heaps of fault codes......He cleared them fresh (took 2 minutes) and turned the key. What do you know but the car starts straight away and is back to normal.........it's got me stumped....could have had something to do with the octane booster????? I just don't know.......but would appreciate any guesses.....thanks for all your help....it's a real bugger when something goes wrong....
