It would be nice but I can't see it happening. And if it does, it will probably be just a bit of styling that changes and not the performance to go along with the car.

given ford are now matching hsv for power (320kw orion v 307kw hsv) and that hsv are bringing out a gtsr with about 370kw, I wouldn't be surprised to see a blown gt (ho) around the corner. Thank god the e series days are over where ford just sat in the corner and twiddled their thumbs...

having spoken to Rod Barret previously, I wouldn't be surprised if he made this happen, he came from a racing background and is probably the best person to say "I'd like to do a GTHO before I leave"

From the aforementioned article:

When questioned about what sort of power outputs a 21st-century GTHO would produce, Barrett repeated a much-used FPV line: that outright power and acceleration is not what an FPV is about.

“It’s not the biggest priority to have the biggest number on the boot,” said Barrett. “Numbers are important, but they’re not the priority.”

What a bunch of :tease:

Of course its about farken numbers....why is everyone buying the Typhoon?....cause its farken quicker than the GT.....the sooner they realise this, the more cars they will sell......

Imagine if he said "yeah, it's all about the power" You'd have every do-gooder known to man jumping up and down like f*cking retards complaining about how irresponsible it is.

Yeah, I know where you're coming from....but at the end of day, he shouldn't make bullsh*t statements like that as head of a Performance division....they may as well change their name to Ford Cruising Vehicles.....why not come out and say we will match or better HSV for power....surely this would keep things interesting come release time.....

Because they are not allowed to use power or speed claims in their marketing :tease:

Just cross your fingers and hope for the best that he is only pussy-footing around the new code of practice and that they will pump out a HSV killer :spit:

I'd buy one

Then hang around with Sutty and do what he did
