I had rattle that might be similar to what you're describing.

I found it to be the black plastic grill on the window demister vent just under the windscreen (on the inside).

A bita double sided tape under that and it fixed it.

I wouldnt have a clue if that's what urs is, but might be worth looking at.

Good luck

I have a sound that appears to be coming from near the passenger side tweeter when I turn, like a creak not a ratlle, ford looked at it twice n told me im nuts, then I cracked it and took them for one hell of a drive to proove it in which they admitted it was there and they have no clue how to fix it! *gasp for air*

I still need to get it back for them to pull the whole tihng to bits and fix ( I fkn hope ) but stupidly enough I now hear another rattle that sounds like its infront of me when im driving over some dips n bumps in the road etc, VERY anoying!

fix or sell :(

I've got the exact same thing in mine when at idle. Drives me insane... But like you, don't have the balls to pull apart the dash to find it. Airbags frighten me!

So my vote is that you take the risk, try it... and then tell me what the problem is!

Well on this advice I will don the helmet and and proceed to lift the cover.

I will report my findings accordingly. I could however be overrun with a dose of cowardice :idunno:
