Had my 03 BA xr6t for 3 months got it at 61000km just clicked onto 65500km : D

I've just hit 80,000 and have had no mechanical issues, just annoying little things that are expected, like:

Wheel alignment and camber kit (last owner lowered it without this)

Replace a faulty TPS

Replace LHF door actuator

Replace bonnet release cable

Fix P/S leak

New front wheel hubs (bearings gone)

New pulleys

Other than that, pretty happy.

Bought my 03 4 years ago with 83k on the clock and I just clocked up 127k.

Few issues starting to happen:

Seatbelt not retracting

Heater not working

Drivers door actuator gone

Handbrake light and tone sounds occasionly when driving

Will get all but the heater fixed soon once the ebb of bills stop flowing in.

Just ticked past 60,000km in my FG, had it serviced yesterday, no real problems except for an issue with the automatic light sensor which existed from the time I got it and took two trips into ford to get fixed properly (it always thought it was dark... premium display is hard to read in night mode during the day). Only other real problem was a dead headlight at about 55,000km.

Heater didn't work-dash out

P/steer leak

Bonnet cable

diff leak

rear susp bush

upper ball joint

slave cylinder leak(G/box out, found out it had exedy extreme sport clutch though)

BIG HOLE in firewall - previous owner just pulled 100mm grommet for normal auto cable spot to run lines for dash gauges(IDIOT as I can't get grommet from ford supposedly!)

Think that's it for now, but generally happy & can't wait to see what else I can tweak out of it once I change to t56

Late 08 FG just tipping 27,500 clicks. Hasn't missed a beat and as a daily driver, par excellence! Only ever had one problem and typical, forgot to mention for the 15k service....bloody temp sensor (which I recall reading is in one of the mirrors) has never read accurately ....its always seems to show somewhere between 1 and 6 degrees C.

Other strange thing, the Ford mobile service bloke mentioned that I should check the rear wheels occasionally as the wheel-nuts can loosen ....bugger me, he was right ....I do it now every month or so as I'd like to avoid one of the rears spinning off when I'm on a Sunday drive up in the sunny coast hills....
