Exchange Expert

Our accountants in Queanbeyan NSW have had their Exchange go belly up. They need the services of a MS Exchange, Window 2003 server expert to help get it going again. Can anyone help em out?

Are you talking hardware failure - onsite help needed sort of belly up?

If they were running MS Exchange, perhaps whoever got it going for them would have put in place some way to do backups, perhaps using MS Volume Shadow Service? If so, then if they were doing regular VSS backups, just roll it back to the last known working state for starters (assuming you can still log in as Administrator). Well, I am no expert, but that's a suggestion at least. You could try contacting a company known as Web Central. They do a lot of MS Exchange hosting (yeah - they had an outage the other day but there are a lot of knowledgeable people there). Another source of info if you are into DIY maintenance is Google.

They are not IT guys. They will need an on site visti. They have been using a firm in Canberra who have stuffed them up. They want to use a new person who is good with Ms stuff. Reguler work to be had here....
