Octane Colour

I had my front drivers door and rear door repaired.. they had to spray both doors and the front quarter panel. the panel beater said nothing about any problems with the paint. it looks perfect but. however at night with the different lights the car looks completly different and every panel looks a different shade its weird

Don't laugh, all Octane cars started out as blood orange but faded so fast Ford gave it a new name and sold it to some suckers err I mean highly regarded customers

Just had a back quarter panel resprayed on my fantasy coloured xrt, painter matched it up no problems and you would not even know it has been done. The paint is expensive but other than that no problems

ive spoken to a couple of painters about fantasy and they say its simple to paint with, providing the mix is right the first time u can paint panels no worries!

I know a lad in town here whos got 4 litres he "might" sell... hmmm fantasy ute??

The colour hasn't been withdrawn, my new "T" gets built on the 20th of June and that's the colur specified.

Very true. I spoke to my Ford dealership today about my brakes recall then the colour octane.. they said the brake hose recall was real but the octane colour was a load of rubbish.

I just did a clay, polish and spot polish with my 4 to 7 inch pads by machine on an octane with black stripes super pursuit ute last week. I absolutely love that colour.

I sealed the paint and wheels for him and I doubt it would fade after that.

That and vixen are my favourite colours.

Make sure any octane owner waxes or seals his paint with something

Toughseal pre treatment (step 1) and a coat of fireglaze or glare pro polish over the topwill do it for a year or so.
