I like it, looks nice, I think they should extend it over to the lhs/rhs of the rear lights too?

just looking at that pic.. the rear bar colour is darker the the body... My Mercury BA has the same issue.. rear bar is darker by a few shades... sorry off subject..

Hahah, we have a few fords at home, the red rtv is my old mans, and his shopping trolley is a phantom purple 03 xr6 turbo. so between them and mine we have a few.

Like I said previously, King springs, Au superlows in the fron and BA superlows in the rear

Just went and measure dads and mine,, both with factor 18's. From the center of the rim to he guards,

Standard

Front: 360mm

Rear: 360mm also

Mine lowered

Front: 330mm

Rear: 333mm

Handles extremely well and rides real nice. Just take one nob off the rear bump stops.

(please not that a kidney belt is not required when carrying out this mod)

Thanx 45T-XR

All I have to do now is work a few Saturdays, get some extra $$$ and then get lowered

I think it shows up more on the Mercury Silver cars.. Mine show heaps when the car is dirty.. The front bar is plastic, but nowhere near the same colour difference..

I got a pretty good deal, I had a mate who bought the same set-up, he didn't like the rear sitting slightly higher by like 3mm, so he went a bought a set of lovells rear springs. So I got a set of rear kings for $50, then went to the local suspension shop and got the fronts for $120. Didn't cost me anything in labour accept for and hour in time. We had a free standing spring compressor at work so made it alot easier. but you can buy the small threaded jobs for relatively cheap also.

at last!! theres a twin of my car. I have a djr spoiler on my mercury xr6t aswell and think they look awesome on that coloured car. I thought about taking the crappy factory spoiler off and leaving it spoilerless but I found that it needed something at the back to make it look individual and not like an xt. love ya work dude.

its my own personal creation, that stripe. its better than those stupid factory stripes that every BA/BF has on them. I like it as its not over the top and its good to be different to the norm.
