Hi All,

Just started to notice that when I shut the motor off after being run at operating temp it makes a boiling sound from the thermostat housing / radiator hose for afew minutes. Coolant was changed last week and I have only noticed it since...

I have bleeded the air out of it by opening the cap and running it for a while.

Any Ideas??? Or is it normal?

Just had a read up on Thermosyphon...intersting stuff.

But...would this make the coolant in my upper radiator hose boil aswell?? Or just the coolant around the turbo??

  • Still have a turbo, it's just on a diesel.

Its should be just the hot coolant from the turbo circulating through the cooling system.
