  4. Guys, I have been told that NGK PFR6B from a 96- 00 WRX is a good plug for the T running higher boost as it comes set with a .08 gap. My car currently is stock and I am wondering if I run these plugs without an edit (stock boost) will they casuse any problems / bad running? I am getting an edit soon but wanted to check if its ok to put the plugs in from now.... Thanks

  7. Hi All, Just started to notice that when I shut the motor off after being run at operating temp it makes a boiling sound from the thermostat housing / radiator hose for afew minutes. Coolant was changed last week and I have only noticed it since... I have bleeded the air out of it by opening the cap and running it for a while. Any Ideas??? Or is it normal? James
  8. FIXED IT!!! Turns out the black rubber ring (I dont know the official name for it so please tell me) between the throttle body and the intake plenum that has the two hose clamps aound it was all mutalated down the bottom therefore not on correctly. I adjusted it and the noise has stopped but I do need another one just to be sure. So if anyone can give me the official name so I can get one from ford it would be appreciated! Cheers James
  9. ok guys this has got me going now! If it is a vaccume leak, where would I start looking for it??? Could the intake / exhaust bolts not being tight cause this (even though they were supposedly tighted by Ford 1000kms ago)? The car is by no means down on power, but it makes it sound like a ricer

  14. Hey guys n' Gals. Just today after I filled up my tank I have noticed when I am at high revs and lift off the throttle the blow off valve makes its usual flutter but also a high pitched whissle for a split second that I have never noticed before. I checked all the hoses from the blow off and they look ok. Does anyone have any idea why this may be? I dont want to go back to ford for the SECOND time this week !! James :D
