04/02/07 04:34 AM04/02/07 04:34 AM #3 Author No, I don't. Unfortunately, 1 WRX looks just the same as another to me. I'll see what I can do.Simon...
04/02/07 04:41 AM04/02/07 04:41 AM #4 I take it it's the current model with that plate? Or is it a 99/01/03/05 etc?
04/02/07 05:18 AM04/02/07 05:18 AM #5 Author Have just SMS'd the owner for model/year details. Will post when I get response. Thanks XXXR6T.
04/02/07 05:24 AM04/02/07 05:24 AM #6 Author Okay, I've been told:"Silver bug eye, 2000, grey leather". They broke in and stole the keys while the owner and his 10yo were asleep. The guy reckons it took him 10 seconds to get in, get the keys and then the car.Sheez, what chance do you have? Simon.... Edited 04/02/07 05:28 AM04/02/07 05:28 AM by Lightning

04/02/07 07:08 AM04/02/07 07:08 AM #8 Sounds shifty..key or not, I was under the impression that the things couldn't be started without supplying the PIN to the alarm pad gizmo or is this only on the STI models?
04/02/07 07:39 AM04/02/07 07:39 AM #9 Okay, I've been told:"Silver bug eye, 2000, grey leather". They broke in and stole the keys while the owner and his 10yo were asleep. The guy reckons it took him 10 seconds to get in, get the keys and then the car.Sheez, what chance do you have? Simon....←Sorry to hear it.Bug eye is either 2001 or 2002.2000 model is old shape.Brian
04/02/07 11:43 AM04/02/07 11:43 AM #10 Author Yeah, don't know where the key was, but I suspect it was on the counter in the kitchen/dining room downstairs. Also, bcl, don't know about the year vs bug eye, only know what he told me. It's definately got a bug eyed look, so maybe it's 2001.Anyway, I suspect it's long gone. I thought they all had PIN code thingo's too, 'cos they were so prone to being nicked. Will find out more later in week.Simon....
