At a guess - The little muddy marks made by a cat on the bonnet of a warm XR6T......

BTW I believe that if you sprinkle fine white pepper on the bonnet, the cats will stay off after a few days 'cause they always sniff before they settle down and end up sneezing which they don't like. You gotta put up with cat snott on the car for a while though....wheres the shotty. I found out the hard way that scaring them or using water is a bad idea 'cause they put out the claws when scared and scratch the duco as they take off in a hurry :(

But then again perhaps I'm way off mark here and your question is about something entirely different...

puzzled me for a while and had to ask K1W1 what his optional cat paw prints were (thought I was missing out on something), but as richdave suggests they are the muddy little prints from those ruddy little buggas CATS!!, gee I hope that's what your talking about!!

Whilst I condone carefully looking after your chariot, I've had to resort to parking mine in the shed (instead of the carport) so that the damn cat doesn't sleep on the bonnet! Pain in the a***.

A mate of mine is in the crayfishing game, so if the cat jumps on the bonnet at all over the winter, there's going to be a few crays plucking cat hair out of their teeth. :D :D

Yes its true, the cat paw prints are form my 3 little 4 legged arse licking friends. Had no shed with the EF XR6 and the thing was covered. Built a new garage for the Red rocket but leave the door open slightly when useing the dryer. The bloody things come in walk across boot up window in rear view line over roof, down the drivers side of the window and on to the bonnet find that they really didn't need to do that and jump off. that's why they all have turns in the freezer!!!!!!

How long do ya give em in there? I hope at least 4 hours or more, that'd slow em up a bit, useless, 4 legged bags of crap!!! (I have one too, *beep* is at least 12 and won't die, fit as fiddle)
