Mate,

If you want a manual, get a manual. The manual vs auto debate is rubbish. Do you want to drive the car the way you want to or not? If the way you want to means reaching for the H pattern and feeling good about making a crisp change, then do it. If you want to hold on tight and run a fast 1/4 then get an auto.

I like to change gears. It is what I like to do. It is how I like to drive. I really don't care how good the ZF is. I want to change gears manually. Geez.

Just get your manual mate and enjoy it.

If you keep the car, find out what Jono from CV Performance did to his transmission recently via the shop that they use www.protrans.com.au

With the mod's that were made to his car recently, it made 284 kilowatts @ the wheel's and backed up with an 11.66 @ 117 M.P.H. Can't argue with that!

;)

You can transfer your insurance onto different vehicles at anytime. I did it from my EF to BA with no hassles. Just had to pay the extra $400 before they would give me the loan (secured loan).

no point putting in a 5sp mate. Not if you plan to mod it.. you'll then be up for even more money then making the auto stronger.
