Do you want to drive the car the way you want to or not? If the way you want to means reaching for the H pattern and feeling good about making a crisp change, then do it. If you want to hold on tight and run a fast 1/4 then get an auto.I like to change gears. It is what I like to do. It is how I like to drive. I really don't care how good the ZF is. I want to change gears manually. Geez.Just get your manual mate and enjoy it. Guest newl Guests Posted 14/01/07 01:09 AM Share Posted 14/01/07 01:09 AM Plenty of people have done an auto to manual conversion. Put it on your list of mods to do and shoot for the goal. Can't argue with that! Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/31799-what-to-do/page/2/#findComment-486323 Share on other sites

I did it from my EF to BA with no hassles. Just had to pay the extra $400 before they would give me the loan (secured loan). Not if you plan to mod it.. you'll then be up for even more money then making the auto stronger.
