December 17, 200619 yr #1 Yeh as topic says, I m either blind or they dont exist. Just wondering how would they ment to be towed away if needed too Russ
December 31, 200619 yr #2 you are not alound to flat tow so there is no use to have one, a truck driver will hook the winch to the lower control arm ect.
December 31, 200619 yr #3 na they are there, check at the back of the plastic stone tray. Be f*cked if I would let them winch it up by the control arms
January 4, 200719 yr #4 what I was saying if they didnt have a tow point then obviously you would check under the vehicle to find the strongest towing point. Edited January 4, 200719 yr by phase3ute
July 29, 201214 yr #5 Are you talking about a towing hitch point on the rear? Know this is the ute threads - but still applicable - where are the hitch points on the front of our cars BA BF FG etc?Just that we had a fellow member get bogged and I had a tow bar so was happy to pull him out forwards but we couldn't work out easily where to hitch up the tow rope on the front of this car without ripping off the front bumper (ummm incase of emergencies only not for towing towing along legal roads to the garage - was just to get him unbogged )Anyway, some constructive advice welcomed
July 29, 201214 yr #6 tow hook is in the jack box behind the passenger seat, the hitch point for the hook, is on the front left (I think) hand side behind a small cap.. look in thye book
July 29, 201214 yr #7 Yeah some one pointed that out for the FG on theirs. But we couldn't find the hitch point on the F6 front. it's a sedan by the way - so does anyone know for the sedans? I can't find the hitch point on my front - it's a BA sedan.
July 31, 201214 yr #8 dont know about sedans, why not ask in the sedans forum?????????????? instead of the ute section//
