  1. In the last 2 months I was trying to sell my ute private via carsales.com.au I had price on it as 32.5 to get 30k+. Month after I had it reduce to 31.5. All I had is few calls and no Visitors. Then I dropped it to 30k. In mean time I was visiting mazda dealers as I wanted to buy new mazda3 with luxery pack. One of the mazda dealers were offering me 25k for the ute. I sorta go put off by that and didnt look anymore. 2 weeks later I went to another mazda dealer, asking for the same car and they were giving 28 for the ute but jacked their mazda to 35 as the previous dealer had it for 34. Then 2 weeks later I heard on radio that one of the mazda dealers were having "special deals" on labour day weekend. I went there and I was dealing with the sales person for at least an hour and half, and I managed to get 32 for my ute and had to pay 1k more on top of it for the brand new mazda 3sp23 with carpet mats and luxery pack which included full leather trim, premium sound, TC, and shadow chrome wheels and door handles. I took that offer straight away. Moral of the story is if you want to trade dont go to one dealer visit few dealers and have your prices ready in your head. Make sure you prove to them that you are serious and would do business same day if you make a deal that you would like. that's my 2 cents. Russ
  2. Hey, I use micro fabric washing mit and cloths for drying off. Before I had a water tank. I used to take my ute to the car wash late at night when no1 is around and dont have to wait in line. Bring the bucket with me and wash it there with the bucket and mit. dry it off while I m there, then when I get home I still go over the ute and dry the wet bits, do the windows tyres etc. Now I all do it at home as I got the water tank and water pump at home. Went to a car wash yard and spent a whole dollar for high pressure water on my brakes. No much dirt in em but did stop the noise, not sure how long will it last like that. Russ

I haven't tried to wash em off. might do that first. It also has heaps of meat on the brakes and mine are just standard brakes.

Hey there everybody, my ute is starting to have squicky front drivers side brake when I press the brake on lightly, but if I push it bit harder it goes away. Its loudest when car is cold started. Got nearly 40k on the clock. Will ford consider doing anything under the warrenty if I take to them to have a look at it? Cheers Russ

  10. Hey there, I got the leather seats pack in my ute and lately the drivers seat is starting to squick and annoy me if the music is down. I think the springs are gone weak on the seat.Ute is about year and half old and just wondering if that would be covered by the warrenty and what would needed to be replaced. I tried to search too see if any1 else had that problem or m I the only one with fat ass . Will appreciate of any comments. Cheers RUss
  11. It didnt happen to me but I would book it in the ford if it happens again so they can have a close look at it and fix it up for u under the warranty. Russ

Hello everybody. Lately I have noticed a rattle under the car when idling. Its louder when the ac is on. I went under and noticed its rattling right behind the cat where that metal protection is. Is this a common issue or did I maybe stuff it up when I scraped on something. Ute is lowed. Whats the best way to get rid of the rattle? Thanks for your time. Russ
