If my T5 dies before the time has come for an upgrade I'll be looking at the T56 box, which can be done for around 6k.

But the auto conversion might be worth looking at too, just wondering how the C4 would be as a daily driver?? and also for longer highway trips? My car isn't a race/drag car so I'd need overall driveability, but if the C4 can offer that, as well as the drag/race aspect I'd be interested. once I do change the gearbox I'll be taking the car down the strip as often as I can. I just don't want to take it down the strip now with the fragile T5.

where can u get a t56 conversion for 6g??

mal wood do a T56 conversion for around $6300 from memory, plus they also do a changeover/trade in on the T5 depending on how badly damaged it is. $6300 doesn't include a clutch upgrade, but I've already got that anyways.

if I want to go fast it has to be auto...

C4 is the best option from what I have heard
